Compass Grad is a community for graduate students across the DMV who want to build meaningful friendships, find support, and explore what it means to live a purposeful, God-centered life in the midst of the grind of graduate school.
We welcome graduate students of all religious and spiritual backgrounds—whether you’re a committed Christian, part of another faith tradition, unsure what you believe, or simply curious about Christianity. Wherever you are on your journey, there’s a place for you here.
Compass Gatherings
Our weekly Bible studies where graduate students come together to slow down, connect, and explore the Bible in community.
We’ll share a meal, and some weeks dive into Scripture and have meaningful conversations about faith and life; other weeks, we’ll play games, hang out, or just enjoy good food and good company.
Ever Wonder?
Ever wonder who you are, where you belong, or what your purpose is? Ever Wonder? is a space for graduate students to explore life’s biggest questions—and what Christianity has to say about them.
Over three weeks, we’ll share a meal, watch a short talk, and have open conversations around identity, belonging, and purpose. No prior knowledge or belief in Christianity is required—just bring your questions and curiosity.
For the month of September we’ll be hosting two groups in the DMV: one near George Washington University and another at the Capital One Café in Georgetown.
